As designers of theatre, we know the physical tools in our arsenal and the crafting processes by which we produce dynamic scenic, lighting, costume, and sound designs for the stage.  But what are the psychological tools we wield? In this workshop, we will explore the fundamentals of human aesthetic response, and discuss how a psycological approach to design can inform our artistic choices to influence the broadest audience possible.
